Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of The Cleaners Place (the “Service”), operated by The Cleaners Place. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
The Service
The Cleaners Place is software for cleaning businesses — scheduling, routing, quotes, invoicing, payments, payroll, a customer booking portal, and related tools. We may add, change or remove features over time.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account, including your staff members' activity.
- You must be at least 18 and use the Service for legitimate business purposes.
Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown at sign-up and in Settings.
- Free trials convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel first.
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and the Service continues until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend access until it is resolved.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
Payments to you and your customers
Card payments from your customers are processed through your connected Stripe account and are subject to Stripe's terms. We are not a party to the transaction between you and your customer and are not responsible for disputes, chargebacks, refunds or payout timing, which are handled by Stripe.
Your data
You own the business and customer data you put into the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process and display that data solely to operate the Service for you and as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to collect and use your customers' information and for complying with laws that apply to your business, including any texts or emails you send through the Service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to send spam or unlawful, deceptive or harassing messages
- Upload malware or attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer, resell or provide the Service to third parties except your own staff
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party rights
Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties such as Stripe, Google and Mapbox. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for them.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if providing the Service to you becomes impractical. On termination your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located there.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
